Time to get rid of your Christmas tree? The City of Decorah’s Street Department is accepting trees at 108 Railroad Avenue from December 26th through the month of January. This service is free to the public and the site is open 24 hours a day. Follow the posted signs to dispose of your tress properly. The trees will be used for mulching. Need wood to heat your home? Call David Tollefson from the street department, 565-382-2157, to arrange to pick up some holiday trees that are past their prime.
