March Energy Breakfast: Allamakee-Clayton REC

Decorah, IA – The Winneshiek Energy District’s March Energy Breakfast will feature Allamakee-Clayton Electric Cooperative’s Executive Vice President/General Manager Paul Foxwell at 7:30am on Tuesday, February 21st at T-Bock’s Underground. Foxwell will shed light on electric rate-making principles, consumer owned cooperatives and upcoming projects at the cooperative.

Foxwell has been employed at Allamakee-Clayton since 1989 when he was hired as the Engineering Operations Manager, later assuming the General Manager position in 2010. He offers expertise from 38 years of experience in the energy industry.

The cooperative services 10,000 meters over 2500 miles of line in a service area that includes the predominantly rural areas of Allamakee, Clayton and the northern 2/3 of Fayette county plus the southeast corner of Winneshiek county.  It also offer broadband internet service via either fixed wireless or satellite technology.

The Energy Breakfasts energy education series takes place at 7:30AM every third Tuesday of the month at T-Bock’s Underground. The event is free and offers the option to purchase a fresh breakfast buffet of quiche, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice. Attendees can register at energydistrict.org/breakfast.
