Winneshiek County Emergency Management welcomes community organizations and municipalities to request use of the county’s newest asset for temporary use at special events. The Sun Titan L60 mobile solar generator is powered by 8 solar panels, 60kW lithium ion batteries, RV (240v) and regular (110v) outlets, and an LED floodlight. The generator’s power duration depends on the electrical load of the appliance(s). Reach out to contact@energydistrict.org with questions about the trailer’s performance.

When using this asset in non-emergency scenarios, operators & community groups access an emissions-free power source and gain a deeper understanding of the benefits of mobile, rechargeable renewable power. Use is granted at the discretion of the Winneshiek County Emergency Manager based on generator availability & staff capacity.
