Hello! My name is Emilee Burcham and I am a junior at Luther College. I am an environmental studies major with a minor in social welfare. I am involved in Student Senate, Norse Against Sexual Assault, the Center for Sustainable Communities, and I work at the Oneota Co-Op. I am so excited to be the energy burden intern for this spring. I am passionate about equityand green energy and I cannot wait to work to make sure Winneshiek Energy District is able to meet and help as many people as possible.

Kristin Eggen first came to the Winneshiek Energy District as a Green Iowa AmeriCorps member in 2015. Eight years later, she is thrilled to lead the grassroots clean energy movement in Winneshiek County. Kristin deeply appreciates rural communities, Northeast Iowa, community sustainability, and nonprofit management. She uses The Art of Hosting Conversations that Matter methodology and graphic recording services to drive strategic conversations around community sustainability, justice, fundraising, and nonprofit health.
