2026 Earth Day Festival
Join WED and community partners for the Winneshiek County Earth Day Festival, a free local event held at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds Danan Lansing Building and Community building. Explore new electric vehicle models, learn about conservation and recycling, and find your next step into clean energy. Over 50 community organizations participate – and there will be fun for the whole family!
The 2026 Earth Day Festival will be held from 9:00 am-12:00 pm on Saturday, April 25th in the Community Building AND Danan Lansing Building at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds in Decorah, IA. Join Winneshiek County Conservation and community partners for a fun morning of earth-friendly activities, vendors, snacks, and more!
Explore the latest in recycling, composting, renewable energy, solar power, electric vehicles, native planting, wildlife habitat, conservation practices, and more! This free, open house event is for all ages. Have fun with hands-on activities, interactive displays, and educational exhibits provided by local conservation and sustainability organizations. Get acquainted with local businesses who can help transform your home into an eco-oasis.
