In partnership with the Iowa Economic Development Authority, the Winneshiek Energy District is offering energy audits and digital energy monitoring for commercial utility customers under 20,000 sq ft in Allamakee, Winneshiek, and Howard Counties. The program will provide insights into opportunities for utility savings and improved insights into your building’s energy use so that you can “dial in” your energy expenditures, identify low-hanging fruit, and plan for meaningful cost-saving projects. This program goes beyond a traditional energy audit to help businesses and organizations identify utility savings through one on one support and free installation of energy sensors to access real-time energy data.

This program is designed to support businesses, nonprofits, and other commercial utility users with buildings under 20,000 square ft, especially those who:

• Experience high utility bills
• House multiple enterprises behind one meter
• Want to improve energy efficiency but are not sure where to start
• Are preparing to go solar
