Called to Climate Action: Statewide Interfaith Gathering

Iowa Interfaith Power and Light will host a free, public event in Hiawatha, Iowa on October 26. The student-led event will include an interfaith prayer service, a keynote by Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, a widely known evangelical Christian and climate scientist, and a keynote response and discussion.

Doors open at 8:00 AM for local and statewide networking
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m

Iowa college students of faith and conscience are organizing this event around the question “As I discern my calling, how does faith invite me into climate action?”

We invite everyone – students, faculty, professionals, parents, retirees, and all people of faith and conscience – to join together to reflect and act on this question.
