Winneshiek Energy District is excited to partner with several Decorah area homeowners for self-guided tours of energy efficient building practices. Walk, bike, or drive to as many as you can in an afternoon (or perhaps all!) and come away inspired to implement new clean energy practices at your own home. It's been a year since Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum opened the doors to it's new Commons in downtown Decorah. Bring your bag lunch for this in-person event, we will catch up with museum Director Chris Johnson to hear about how the building's sustainable design has helped the museum save energy, and what they have learned.
