WANTED: Owner-Occupied Homes for Free Energy Assessments

Kristin Eggen, Communications Specialist

Partnership is a beautiful thing. The Regional Housing Trust Fund (RHTF) partners with the Winneshiek Energy District to bring qualifying homeowners in Northeast Iowa FREE home energy assessments.

Do you know of an owner-occupied, single family home with an annual income of less than $50,450?  You can help them save money and decrease the home’s carbon footprint. Have them call our office today to schedule an RHTF-sponsored energy assessment. It will save them money, help our region maintaining a quality regional housing stock, and save on carbon for all for our world! That’s what we call a triple win.

Schedule an energy assessment or learn more at (563) 382- 4207 ext 2.

The average Green Iowa AmeriCorps First Step Assessment decreases a home’s utility bill by over $100 annually!

From lighting upgrades to air infiltration tests, the Green Iowa AmeriCorps team uses sophisticated methods to evaluate and decrease a home’s energy consumption.  RHTF-Sponsored homes are single-family, owner-occupied, and income qualifying (see below). This program serves homes in Allamakee, Fayette, Winneshiek, Howard, and Clayton Counties.

Call to schedule today OR forward this email to a friend using the button at the bottom of this email.  Thank you for helping Northeast Iowa become an even better place to live!
