Green Iowa AmeriCorps is currently recruiting to fill full-time, 11-month service positions beginning September of 2018!
We are currently seeking environmentally focused and passionate individuals to serve in our AmeriCorps State program focused on three program tracks; Energy & Community, Sustainable Schools, and Land & Water Stewards. Each program track engages members in direct service, environmental education, volunteer and community engagement, and professional development opportunities in their own unique ways. The Winneshiek Energy District will host an Energy and Community team for the 9th year in a row!
The program will pay you while you serve, with access to health coverage, childcare assistance, federal loan deferment, interest accrual repayment, and an education stipend! As a member you’ll be able to create an individualized professional development plan, assume leadership roles and engage in hands-on skills development, access to free trainings, and much more!
